입으로 들어간 것이 사람을 더립히는게 아니라, 입에서 나온것이 사람을 더럽게 한다. 사람의 입, 특히 언행에 관한 격언은 대체로 비슷하다. 한상 말조심하라는 것도 결국 자기 얼굴에 침을 뱉는 격이니 말이다. 나도 항상 말을 조심해야 한다 생각하지만 어렵긴 하다. 말실수도 그렇고, 생각하지 않고 내뱉은 말은 돌이켜보면 후회가 남는다. 침묵이 금이다.
