Verse of the day

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the game goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

My Concerns

What is the goal in my life? Now I have no idea but I want to be a better person than before. I was selfish runner before suicidal issues. after I belive in Catholic, I have been changed. Now I want to be runner who can think about one another. Love one another is my favorite commanded that is hard to do but I love it. I pray continually. In Jesus's name, Amen.

 

오늘의 구절은 비유적이면서 종교적인 느낌의 내용이다. 우승을 위해 모두가 달리지만, 한사람만이 상을 얻는다는 세상의 이치를 말한다. 우승을 위해 사람들은 엄격하게 살아간다. 그들은 오래가지 않을 면류관을 위해 행하지만, 우리는 영원할 면류관을 위해 행동한다고 말한다. 여기서 결국 세상의 이치와 기독교적 세계관에서 추구하는 가치가 다름을 말하고자 한다.

 

비종교적 세계관에서도 실제 세상에서 추구하는 보편적 가치보다 자신만의 가치를 추구하는 경우가 있다. 자본주의와 능력주의 세계관에서 자유를 좀더 추구하는 인간형, 찾기 어렵고 실현도 어렵지만 존재한다. 그들에게는 종교적인 구원도 바라지 않고, 세상의 능력과 자본의 보상도 바라지 않는다. 바라지 않기 때문에 두려워 할 이유도 없다. 여기서 궁극적인 자유를 누릴 수 있다고 믿는 유형의 인간형이 있다. 이것 또한 오래가지 않을 면류관을 위해 달리는 수많은 경쟁자들과는 다른 레인에서 달리고 있는 사람이라 볼 수 있다.
