God's will

실제로 내가 종교를 갖게 된 이유도 안정감에 기인한다. 통계적으로 종교를 가졌을때 대체로 심리적 안정감이 올라간다고 한다. 물론 여성이 그 안정감을 갖는다는 비율이 높긴하지만 말이다. 나는 천주교 신자로 살게 되면서 가끔 하는 게, 미사가 없는 시간에 성당에 찾아가곤 한다. 미사가 진행되는 시간보다 불꺼진 성당 안에서 앉아 시간을 보내는 행위가 좋다. 그렇게 평소 다니지 않던 장소에도 가게 되서 색다르기도 하고, 거기서 오히려 안정감이 느낀다. 진짜 나만의 공간이 생긴 느낌같기도 하고 말이다. 종교를 갖게 된 이후 느끼는 안정감과는 조금 다른 예시지만, 나름의 방식으로 내 정서적 안정을 찾는 방법은 찾고 있다.
