Honor God
"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Eqypt, out of the land of slavery. "You shall have no other gods before me. 믿음으로 인해, 그 신념이 나의 등물이 되어 길을 밝혀준다면, 종교적 신 혹은 이념 혹은 이성이던 같에 믿음이 주는 가치는 설명할 수 없다. 물론 종교적 가르침은 선명하다. 허나 비종교인에게 치환되는 신에 대한 믿음은, 이성에 대한 확신이던가 하니면 동양적 가치관의 천명이 될지 모르겠다. 자기 삶의 등물이 되고, 길이 되어줄만한 믿음, 오늘의 구절에서는 말씀이라고 할 수 있겠지만 분명 누구에게나 있다. 삶이 나락에 빠졌다 느꼈을때 나는 종교에 손을 잡았다. 꼭 종교가 아니어도 자신의 삶에 등불이 되어줄 무언가를 찾길 바란다.
