보통은 오늘의 구절에서 내 생각을 꺼내는 편인데, 워낙 종교적인 교훈 이외에는 찾기 어려워서 부득히 야고보서 5장 16절을 참조해서 글을 쓴다. 서로 고해하고 기도함으로써 치유됨을, 의인의 기도의 힘도 효용에 대해 말하는 구절이다. 종교적이지만, 여기서는 서로와 의인에 대해 주목할 필요가 있다. 서로가 서로에게 등이 되어주는 것이 꼭 종교적 교훈으로 국한할 필요가 없으며, 의인은 비종교적 사람들에게서도 충분히 나온다. 그리고 그들은 강력하고 효용있는 페르소나를 지녔다.
