이사야 구절이 다뤄질 때, 항상 구약과 신약을 연결해주는 대표적인 작품이다. 신약의 예수 그리스도와 연결되는 맥락이 있다는 점으로 인해 이사야가 오늘의 구절로 다뤄질 때 항상 연상이 된다.
