어제 이어서 오늘도 믿음과 의심에 대한 구절이 등판했다. 예전에 어디서 본 기억이지만, 오랜 성직자 생활 속에서도 의심을 가진 적이 있을 고백하는 신부의 진정성있는 말을 들은 바 있다. 사람이라면, 절대적인 믿음이란 것은 사실 불가능하다. 상황에 따라 의심은 피어날 수 있기에 인간이 아닐까 싶다. 항상 의심할 수 있는 불안정한 종교인이란 마음을 잊지 않는다. 의심하는 나를 인정하고, 믿음에 대해 행동으로 증명하고 있는지에 대해 스스로 자문하면서 살아간다면, 의심은 한순간의 바람처럼 왔다가 가지 않을까 싶다.
